Company history

Bramley Clinic was set up 16 years ago by Osteopaths/ naturopaths Kevin and Laurence Beckwith who have many years of experience running different clinics throughout the country.


 



 
Kevin Beckwith
 
Kevin trained at the European School of Osteopathy (E.S.O.) qualifying in June 1993, and established a practice in Horsham, Sussex, alongside his wife Laurence. He also practiced in Harley Street, London. After returning to Sheffield in 1999 he established practices in Handsworth and in Worksop at one of the busiest GP surgeries in the country.

Kevin uses a wide range of musculoskeletal treatments learned over this time including Cranial Osteopathy, Acupuncture, Applied Kinesiology and the application of nutritional supplements to aid physiological balance.

Kevin is registered with the General Osteopathic Council (1/1765/F).

Laurence Beckwith

Laurence trained at the E.S.O. qualifying in June 1993. She worked in Kent, and alongside Kevin in Sussex. Developing a particular interest in "Visceral" osteopathy, Laurence began to treat conditions such as Irritable Bowel Syndrome, and gynaecological problems. She has worked as an instructor as the E.S.O. and undertook further studies in Visceral Osteopathy and Naturopathy, qualifying as a Naturopath in 1996.

Laurence combines her in-depth knowledge of both naturopathic and osteopathic principles in treating patients with a variety of clinical conditions. She is in demand as a lecturer teaching postgraduate courses in London, and in 2004 was invited to Milan to lecture to over 300 health professionals.

Laurence is registered with the General Osteopathic Council (1/1766/F).

Joseph Robson

Joseph underwent 4 years training in traditional Chinese acupuncture at the Northern College of Acupuncture inYork. Since qualifying he has undergone further training in Japanese acupuncture styles. He has been practising acupuncture for 6 years and currently works from three different clinics covering Sheffield and South of Doncaster.

Joseph is a member of the British Acupuncture Council.

Bendle

Bendle has been practising as a traditional medical herbalist for over 20 years. He graduated from the School of Herbal Medicine where he qualified for membership of the National Institute of Medical Herbalists. He was also awarded a Diploma in Phytotherapy (Dip Phyt).

Since qualifying he has worked in his own private practice and since 1998 he has also been working part time within the NHS at a local health centre. He has been a guest lecturer at The Scottish School of Herbal Medicine and he teaches herbalists on post-graduate level training courses. 

He offers a holistic approach to the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of illnesses. He believes that understanding the links between emotional and physical health is an important part of healing and recovery.

Morgan Gleadall

Morgan began her studies and qualified in 2008 as a NVQ Level 3 Beauty therapist, she then did her first year in FdSc in Complementary Health Therapies where she qualified as an ITEC Certified Reflexologist in 2009. Morgan practices both Reflexology and Swedish Massage in the Clinic, using effective techniques and the knowledge of human anatomy and physiology to deliver her therapies. Morgan is currently studying BSc (Hons) Biomedical Sciences at Sheffield Hallam University (2011-2015) and works part-time here at the clinic on the side of her studies. Her current studies will widen her depth of knowledge of the human anatomy which is her preferential tool when providing both Massage and Reflexology treatments.
